The delivery of two TRECC Sanitation Systems marks a major milestone for the U.S. customer, introducing rapid-deploy, self-contained hygiene and support capabilities in rugged environments. Each unit can be deployed by two personnel in under two minutes, providing mission-ready sanitation and kitchen support wherever needed. The systems elevate field hygiene, reduce setup times, and enhance operational endurance—giving troops reliable, mobile infrastructure designed to meet demanding field conditions with precision and resilience.

The TRECC systems can integrate directly with Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) platforms, offering unmatched flexibility. Their modular design enables swift deployment, powered by integrated solar and 24VDC systems for off-grid operation. The inclusion of advanced ventilation, water purification, and sink configurations ensures field teams maintain hygiene and safety standards comparable to fixed facilities—significantly improving readiness, sustainability, and soldier welfare in remote and austere operational zones.

TRECC Sanitisation System packed for transport

Each TRECC system deploys in less than two minutes with just two operators. Using electric actuators and high-pressure gas struts, the shelter expands quickly and securely. The entire system is built around a robust aluminium frame with a highly specialised fabric shell and removable inner liner. This combination ensures durability, weather resistance, and ease of maintenance, enabling seamless transitions between transport and fully functional field operation.

The TRECC sanitation and kitchen shelters are powered through integrated 24VDC and 120VAC systems with solar panels producing approximately 460W. They include a 100-gallon insulated potable water tank with integrated level and temperature gauges, auxiliary batteries, and external fill and drain systems. Capable of both drawing from and supplying pressurized water sources, the system delivers reliable hot and cold water—critical for both sanitation and food service operations in the field.

The sanitation module’s three-sink configuration is fully modular, allowing reconfiguration to suit operational workflow. Flexible cable and hose ports enable sinks to be positioned at either end of the shelter, optimizing access to equipment and minimizing splash hazards near electrical systems. Additional features include removable splash shields, ventilation hoods, and slip-resistant flooring, ensuring ergonomic, safe, and efficient operation even in demanding environments.

The TRECC’s composite structural floors, reflective insulation, and 24VDC air conditioning system deliver superior thermal performance. Tests show up to a 15% reduction in HVAC energy requirements compared to earlier models. Its insulated water systems, optional internal heaters, and sealed shelter design ensure functionality from -40°C to +50°C. Together, these features provide comfortable, efficient working conditions for extended missions across diverse climates.

Through the use of lightweight materials, the TRECC maintains compatibility with standard JLTV trailer payload limits while offering a balanced tongue weight for safe mobility. Its interface allows operation directly on or off the JLTV trailer, freeing the vehicle for additional tasks. With features like quick-stow stairs, modular power pods, and camo net compatibility, the TRECC provides a complete, transportable infrastructure solution that enhances mission flexibility and operational reach.
