Project Description
One of the key requirements for this MECC based military command post was the ability to be rapidly transported by C130 air transport, deployed and fully operational with 12 operators working within 15 minutes. The MECC military command post needed to be able to function either as a stand-alone capability complete with on-board power generation, lighting, HVAC and VPN, as well as the ability to integrate into common NATO deployed power infrastructure.
The flexibility of the MECC internal layout enables it to be configured with multiple options for operator position with all operators co-located on an all informed wired fibre LAN. The demountable server rack includes a UPS and together with the on-board power generation allows for dual redundancy in the case of shore power failure.
